Getting a haircut means changing our image, who we are and how we position ourselves in the world. This change calls for reflection: we must think about what we want our new appearance to be. Technological advances now allow us to produce much more with much less effort, replacing human labour—both physical and cognitive—at an ever-accelerating pace. This new scenario forces us to reconsider what is possible and, therefore, what kind of world we aspire to. What if, for the first time, a world that is not only fairer but radically new and truly free were within reach, and we simply hadn’t realized it yet? Accompanying this haircut is a series of questions inviting us to imagine what the world might look like after a good session at the hairdresser’s.
